An Australian accessories business aims to combine fashion with functionality to provide customers with ‘handy’ bags and wallets that can actually hold all of their belongings.
In 2015 Clare Spelta, from Brisbane, founded Bon Maxie as a hobby business to sell custom paintings but it very quickly became known for the brand’s earring holder – an organisational piece Clare had created more for herself than a shopper.
A million hand-drilled holes later and a serious bout of RSI, Clare decided to expand the range to include other products that solved annoying little problems.
